Expanding Food Security in the LCR Valley
In November 2020, the Native American Agricultural Fund (NAAF) funded TLE to pursue a collaborative project with regional partners to revitalize Navajo and Hopi farms in the Little Colorado River (LCR) Valley.
This project is a part of the Dine Small Farm and Ranch Initiative aimed to support a growing network of regional farmers and food entrepreneurs with training, technical assistance, business support, mini-grants, and advocacy support as they increase their capacity to grow, share, and market nutritious food in the southwest corner of the Navajo Nation.
We'd like to extend our gratitude and appreciation to our partners, all community members, and NAAF! Ahee'hee!
