Joyce Skeet

Joyce Skeet currently serves as the Program Manager for Covenant Pathways, a non-profit organization that she co-founded with her husband, James Skeet. Joyce has over 15 years of experience in project management, grant writing and administration, and hands-on regenerative agriculture practices. Prior to joining Covenant Pathways, Joyce served as a Care Coordinator with United Healthcare and Amerigroup, where she was responsible to insure Medicaid members were receiving their maximum services.

Joyce also worked as a special education teacher and job developer assisting individuals with learning disabilities acquire and retain their jobs across northwestern New Mexico and Navajo Nation for 18 years. Joyce, being born and raised in Pennsylvania, was introduced to agriculture and animal husbandry from an early age. Her diverse background and experiences have allowed her to develop a unique skillset and broad scope of knowledge.

Joyce holds a BA degree in Education from Grace College, and a MA degree in Special Education from University of NM. Joyce has completed several Life in the Soil classes from Dr. Elaine Ingham. Joyce’s diverse work, education and life experiences have motivated her to practice and teach Soil Life farming methodology and composting to community members, youth and students.
